This is a 4-class Series for depression and emotional balancing.
As the proverb goes, the only way out is through.
The root of depression is a feeling of being unloved, unsupported, and disconnected from others. When depressed, you become disconnected from your own body and emotions. The antidote to this is cultivating connection. As Anodea Judith writes, in Eastern Body Western Mind, to “lose our connection with the body is to become spiritually homeless.”
In my one month class series, we use yoga, pranayama/breathing techniques, meditation, and journaling to face depression (step 1), move through it as gracefully as possible (step 2), and to build a spiritual foundation, an inner home (step 3), which you can always return to.
What is Included:
Four 75-minute classes, emailed to you weekly over the course of a month.
