Commissions
Commissions are one of my favorite ways to connect with collectors! Whether you’re an interior designer sourcing for a project, or a homeowner looking for the perfect statement piece, I’d absolutely love to work with you to create something unique to your taste and your space.
How the Commission Process Works
I offer virtual consultation meetings via FaceTime if you'd like to walk through your vision. I'm happy to provide direction in terms of sizing, color palette, and subject matter based on your space. If you're local, I would love to come see the space in person. Please inquire!

STEP 1: Your Vision
I’ll need you to compile the following:
- The location for the artwork and an estimated desired size
- Examples of my previous work that resonate with you
- The selection of colors you’d love to see included in your piece
- Photos of your space
- Optional: images that you want me to work from (i.e. a favorite scenic vista), fabric swatches, wallpaper, paint chips, or other design elements that should be reflected in the piece
STEP 2: Consultation
We’ll connect via email to schedule a meeting to discuss your vision, preferences, and any questions you may have. This is where the magic starts!
STEP 3: Deposit & Timeline
A 50% deposit is required to secure your spot in my commission queue. I book work in the order deposits are received. Your balance (plus shipping and any framing costs) is due prior to delivery. Once I review your project, I’ll provide you with an estimated completion timeline. Please note timelines are subject to change, but I’ll always communicate updates clearly.
TERMS
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin
- Balance (plus framing/shipping if applicable) is due before delivery
- Two rounds of revisions are included
- Additional revisions = $250 per round
- All commission sales are final
- Refer to my Shipping Policy for full delivery details
What to Expect
I don’t create digital mockups or samples. I paint intuitively - pulling inspiration from the references you provide and creating something layered, meaningful, and totally unique. I do not replicate past work, but I can certainly create something with a similar mood or palette.
When your painting is nearly complete, I’ll send high-quality photos and videos for your review. You’re welcome to request up to 2 rounds of color-based revisions (e.g., “add more blue,” “soften the coral”). Any additional changes will incur a $250 fee per round.
Once finalized, your piece is sealed, packed with care, and shipped straight to your door—or hand-delivered if you’re local to North Carolina. If you are outside of NC, I will use a private driver to transport your piece. I have found this is the safest and most effective way to get your piece safely from point A to B, but it does mean allowing for a bit of flexibility in timing.
